In the early 1990s, I built my family home on the forested parcel of land where Adena Meadows now sits. I also built a thoroughbred horse breeding and training operation nearby. Over the years, many of the champion colts and fillies foaled at my farm have grazed in the fields surrounding the manor estates of Adena Meadows. Magna International Inc. – the company I founded nearly 50 years ago – built its global headquarters on the same property later that decade, and a few years later developed the world-renowned Magna Golf Club.

I’m proud of the fact that I’ve built a world-class horse breeding operation on these lands and proud as well to have personally overseen the planning and construction of a world-class golf course and corporate headquarters. Each of these developments was carefully-planned and executed, with great attention to detail. I have also taken every effort to ensure the environmental protection and enhancement of the property.
